About
School of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism is one of the specialized schools within Siberian Federal University.
The reason for its creation were the serious sports achievements of SFU, such as victories in the Russian Universiade and contests of the Ministry of Education and Science "University of Healthy Lifestyle", also participation and victories of university students in the Olympic Games, World and European championships.
The School consists of four departments:

The program was created with the aim of obtaining high specialists who are able to effectively organize tour operator and travel agency services. The field of professional activity includes the collection and evaluation of a tourist product that has quality, compliance with consumer requirements, the organization of a complex of tourist services in the main sectors of the tourism industry.
The peculiarity of training bachelors of this profile is practice orientation: close ties with employers and professional associations, with tourism enterprises.
Preparation of a bachelor in this direction involves trips to popular tourist areas of the region (Krasnoyarsk pillars, Minin pillars, Ergaki). The educational process also involves the participation of students in specialized exhibitions and tourism fairs, visiting hotels, tourist display facilities, etc.
- Able to calculate and analyze the costs of activities of an enterprise in the tourism industry, a tourist product in accordance with the requirements of the consumer and (or) tourist, to justify a management decision.
- Able to use regulatory documentation on the quality of the tourist product, standardization and certification of services in the tourism industry.
- Able to develop a tourist product that meets the requirements of consumers; identify priority areas in the design of a tourist product.
- Able to make excursion programs; select the objects of the tour show and story; determine the methodological techniques used during the excursion; complete the "portfolio of the guide"; prepare travel documents.
- Able to apply methodological techniques in excursion work; ensure the safety of tourists during the tour.
